Arizona Secretary of State Business Entity Search
There are a total of four different search methods on the business entity search page of the Arizona Secretary of State  which are: by corporation name, filing number, applicant or agent name, and registered name.
All generated results along with extensive details and filing information are supplied and gathered by the Arizona State Secratary and are made available to the public. Thus, you can access all the necessary information about a business entity for free.
All you need to do is select one of the methods based on your available information. You can also enhance your search with the additional search criteria on the page. To find out how, below are the steps corresponding to each method.
Search for a Corporation or LLC
Head over to the Arizona Secretary of State business search portal. Select the tab which states “Name – Forms of Entity Names in Reservation” to load the search engine. Enter the particular information needed on the designated blank field.
Enter the particular name after clicking the drop-down button of the specific tab.
After that step, a search bar will be provided. Enter your desired business entity name on the provided field.
After providing a name, select an entity type by clicking the drop-down button of the tab located below. Select one of the given four options from Business Corporation, Non-Profit Corporation, LLC, and others.
Click the ‘Check Name’ button to proceed with your search.
If your desired entity name did not match any name, it means that it is still available for use. A notification indicating “available” will pop up on the screen, along with the option “Reserve the Entity Name.” Click this option if you wish to proceed.
Search for a Partnership by Filing Number
Open the Arizona Secretary of State business search portal. After being routed to the page, enter the correct filing number of the business entity in question on the provided blank field. Click ‘Start Search’ once you’re done.
If the filing number was entered correctly, only one name should appear on the page, since filing numbers are unique for each business. Click the number on the name highlighted in red on the first column to proceed.
On the last page, you will be able to access all the extensive information about this business.
Search for a Partnership by Applicant or Agent Name
Same as the previous method, access the Arizona Secretary of State business search portal. Enter the necessary information on the blank field that corresponds to ‘Applicant or Agent Name.’ Hit the ‘Search’ button to generate results.
A list of results will be generated on the next page that corresponds to the information you have provided. Once you found the name of the agent that matched your search, click the ID number on the first column.
After selecting a particular name, the business entity associated with the agent will be shown on the next page.
On the last page, you will be able to review the filing history made by the registered agent.
Search for a Partnership by Registered Name
Fill out the blank field that corresponds to the legally registered name of an individual.
On the second page, you will be presented with a list of registered names that matched your information. Click the ID number of your chosen entity highlighted in red on the first column.
On the next page, you will be able to review all the information regarding the business you have selected.
