Search by Entity Name

Step 1

Start your search by navigating through the Delaware Division of Corporations search portal [1]. From thereon, blank field will be provided where you will enter the business entity name. After providing the entity name, simply click the search button to generate results.

Step 2

On the next page, a list of system-generated results will be available. Find the business entity you have searched and click on the name to access more detailed information.

Step 3

After selecting the name, you now have access to more specific details about the entity. However, if you want to obtain more information and data, there will be a charge of $10 to retrieve the entity’s status, and $20 for the franchise tax assessment, current filing history, and more.

This information about the said charges is found on the bottom part of the entity details window and is highlighted in red.

Search by File Number

Step 1

Same as the instructions above, start your search by navigating on the linked web page found in the previous step. On the blank field, enter the file number of the business entity you’d like to search. Click the search button to generate system results.

Step 2

Using this method, you will most likely generate one result since every business entity possesses unique file numbers. This option would be best since it will load  accurate results faster and easier.

After the results are generated, click on the entity name associated with the file number like the picture shown below, for further detailed pieces of information.

Step 3

As the last step of your search, a detailed list of information will be shown on the page. However, if you want to access more information, there will be corresponding charges.

There is a $10 cost for retrieving entity status, and $20 for the franchise tax assessment, current filing history, and more.

The options for the said documents are located at the bottom part of the page. After selecting your preferred information, simply click “Submit.”
