Search by Name

Step 1

Searching by name is the most commonly used type of method when looking for a particular business entity. But do note that this won’t generate the most refined results.

To start the search, head over to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Business Search portal. Enter the business name on the blank field. Hit ‘Search’ once you’re done.

Search by Control Number

Step 1

Searching by control number will generate a single result. By providing an accurate control number, only a specific business name will be presented on the results page.

To start, open the Georgia Secretary of State’s Business Search portal. On the page, enter the control number on the blank field. Check if the number you entered is correct and click ‘Search’ once you’re finished.

Enter the full name or a part of their name on the blank field on the Georgia Secretary of State’s Business Search portal. Click ‘Search’ to generate results.
